August is here, which means I'm staying inside for the next month because of the heat. That definitely gives me more time to write. Yay! I'm excited that my first new release in a long while is coming in September. My writing time was compromised because of my day job, and that saddened me. But after several years, I am taking my life back again, and writing is at the top of my list of things to do.
Of course, my son is getting married in September so that is definitely the number one spot. It's a very joyous time. They just got their own place and we've been moving them in. It's a parent's dream to see their kids grow up and start their new lives. It's exciting and scary, but you hope you've taught them what they need to know so they can carry on. I know that sounds mushy, but I am mushy about my firstborn leaving the nest.
